X-STOX HyperScalp Pro

High-frequency gold scalping, with the whole engine on your chart

A MetaTrader 5 scalping engine built for gold. It trades often and holds briefly, lets winners run behind a trailing stop rather than capping them at a target, and recovers positions that move against it instead of closing them at a loss. Everything it is doing is on the chart in front of you — the live basket, the break-even, the armed stop, and the next move before it is taken.

The problem it solves

Most recovery robots keep their mechanics out of sight and hope nobody asks. This one puts the whole engine on the chart, ships with a manual that documents the risk in full, and states on this page exactly what happens when a recovery runs out of room. You should know what you are running before you run it.

What you see on Chart

Live On Chart Panel

From a live MetaTrader 5 terminal — not a mock-up. Click it to open full size.

Armed and flat, waiting for a candidate. Spread gauge, a light each for news, session and spread, and the ladder meter at rest. The block at the bottom repeats the same state as plain text.
A basket open and in profit. Break-even, live result and peak, the armed trailing stop, and the next rung — its size, its price and how far away it is — shown before it is taken rather than after.

The third state

Paused

Three checks run before every new basket. If any one of them says no, the panel shows which, and nothing new opens until it clears.

  • NewsAround scheduled releases, with a countdown to the next one.
  • SessionAround a session open, such as London.
  • SpreadToo wide on the gauge, and the entry is dropped.

An open basket keeps its trailing stop through every pause.

One trade, end to end

What actually happens after a signal

The same six stages run on every candidate. Where a run ends depends entirely on what the market does next — and most candidates never become trades at all.

A diagram of the paths through the logic, not a claim about how often each one occurs. The log shows events only — no prices, sizes or results.

Run 1 of 3 — Refused

  1. 1

    Gates

News window, session window and live spread are all checked before anything else. Any one of them can drop a candidate.

  2. 2

    Entry

Price has stretched far enough from its recent average, relative to current volatility, to be worth fading. The basket opens.

  3. 3

    Managing

Break-even, exposure, floating result and distance to the next rung are recalculated on every tick — through every filter, without interruption.

  4. 4

    Recovery

The market went the other way. A larger rung is added at the next grid step and break-even moves toward price.

  5. 5

    Trail arms

The basket is clear of break-even. A stop is written to every leg and starts following the best level reached.

  6. 6

    Closed

Price touches the trail. Every leg closes together and the result is labelled on the chart.

No trade taken — and most candidates end here

In detail

How HyperScalp Pro works

01

Built for gold, and only gold

One market, one chart. That is what lets every part of the engine be tuned to how gold actually behaves intraday — and gold gives a scalper the range it needs, several times an hour.

02

It fades the stretch

When a move runs further than current conditions justify, the engine takes the other side. Mean reversion: it needs a market that comes back, so it is at its best when gold is ranging and at its worst in a hard trend.

03

Winners are never capped

No take-profit. A trailing stop arms once the basket is clear of break-even and then follows the best level it reaches. Every leg closes together on the same stop, so nothing is left stranded.

04

Losers get recovered

A position moving against you is worked back rather than closed at a loss: a larger rung is added at the next grid step, pulling break-even toward price so a small retrace closes the group green. Depth, step and multiplier are yours to set.

05

It sits out the news

The engine reads the economic calendar and the session clock and takes no new entries around the events that matter, winding down beforehand so it is never carrying a basket into one. An open basket keeps its stop throughout.

06

Spread decides everything

Small, frequent gains mean the cost per trade is the difference between working and not. The engine refuses entries above your spread ceiling. Check the symbol, not the broker — most list gold twice and the spreads are nothing alike.

07

Best on a cent account

Run the real configuration at full depth while the money at risk stays small. It must be a hedging account, not netting — the ladder holds several positions in the same direction and a netting account merges them.

08

Yours for life

Locked to your account number and verified offline, so it runs on a machine with no internet. A second key covers your demo account, rebinding is free if you change broker, and updates are free for as long as the product exists.

The mechanic that matters

It recovers losing trades instead of closing them

When the market moves against an open basket, HyperScalp Pro does not take the loss. It adds a larger position at the next grid step, which drags the break-even price toward the market — so a small recovery closes the whole group in profit rather than a large one being needed. That is why it wins as often as it does, and it is also where the risk lives.

  • Each rung is meaningfully larger than the last

Because a new rung outweighs everything already open, adding one pulls break-even sharply toward price. Within a few rungs, recovering a fraction of the adverse move is enough to close the basket in profit — which is the whole reason the strategy works as often as it does.

  • No take-profit, ever

The exit is a trailing stop that arms once the basket is clear of break-even and then follows the best level it reaches. Winners are never capped at a fixed target, and every leg closes together on the same stop, so you never end up holding a stranded position.

  • No stop-loss until that trail arms

While a basket is losing, there is no protective stop resting anywhere. Optional safety limits are built in — a hard basket stop, a daily loss limit and a floating drawdown cap — but they ship switched off, because switching them on changes the strategy. Turning them on is a decision worth making deliberately.

  • The ladder has a floor, and it can be reached

Past the last rung the engine stops adding. From there the basket sits at full size, unhedged and unstopped, for as long as the move continues. How far the ladder reaches before that happens is set by you — and on gold, the distance a default configuration covers is the distance an ordinary news day can travel.

A diagram of the mechanism, not a record of results. The axis counts grid steps rather than dollars, so the picture stays true whatever you configure.

When it stands aside

The hours it refuses to trade

Mean reversion fails hardest in the minutes a market gaps, and a recovery ladder does its worst damage in exactly those minutes. So the engine stands aside for them — and winds down beforehand so it is never carrying a basket into one.

Illustrative. Window widths are drawn for legibility, not to scale, and all times are broker server time.

How to run it

Best on a cent account

A recovery ladder needs room to finish its job, and room costs capital. On a cent account the unit is a hundredth the size, so you can run the real configuration at full depth while the money at risk stays small.

  • Run the real configuration, not a cut-down one

Shrinking the ladder to fit a small standard account changes the strategy — a shallower ladder reaches its floor sooner. A cent account lets you keep the configuration intact and shrink the money instead.

  • Two keys, one licence

Your licence covers a demo account alongside your live one, so you can run both and compare before committing anything.

  • It has to be a hedging account

The recovery ladder holds several positions in the same direction and manages them as a group. A netting account merges them into one and the break-even arithmetic breaks. No setting works around this — check the account type before you attach it.

Money at risk behind the same ladder

1 of 100

One cent-account unit against one standard-account unit. Same ladder, same depth, same behaviour.

  • Standard account

    Full size

The ladder behaves identically, but every rung is a full lot. To give it enough room to reach its last rung you need the capital behind the whole ladder, not just the first position.

  • Cent account

    1 / 100

Same engine, same settings, same depth — at a hundredth of the exposure. The sensible way to run it while you learn how it behaves on your broker, and a perfectly reasonable way to keep running it afterwards.

A cent account does not reduce risk as a percentage — it reduces the amount of your own money standing behind the same percentage.

Before you buy

The honest bit

Four things worth knowing before you buy. They are in the manual too — this is the short version.

1

Rare losses are large

Many small wins are funded by occasional big losses. A high win rate tells you very little here — the size of the tail is what matters. Judge it over months, not days.

2

Size grows when you are wrong

The position is at its biggest exactly when the market has already gone against the entry several times. That is how recovery works, and it is the cost of it.

3

Gaps beat a grid

Weekend and news gaps jump past several rungs at once. A ladder cannot average into a gap and a trailing stop cannot exit inside one.

4

Your broker decides a lot of it

Tight spreads and fast fills are not a nice-to-have. On a wide-spread symbol the strategy does not underperform, it stops working — so check yours first.

In one line

Many good weeks, then one bad session that gives a chunk of it back. That is the shape of the strategy, not a fault in it — so size the account for the bad session, run it on a cent account while you learn it, and judge it over months.

Trading leveraged products carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of more than your initial deposit. X-STOX makes no representation that this Expert Advisor will be profitable. Nothing on this page is financial advice. The full risk disclosure ships with the product.

Testing

Backtests and tester runs

Recordings and reports from the MetaTrader Strategy Tester.

A Strategy Tester run on gold, one-minute chart. A basket is open at the second rung with the trailing stop already written — the panel shows break-even, the live result and the next rung together.
The same run, paused for a session window. The engine is flat and taking no new entries, which is the behaviour the tester cannot show for news events — the MetaTrader calendar is empty inside it.

A tester run is not a track record. The MetaTrader calendar is empty inside the tester, so the news filter is switched off for the whole run, and tick data under-represents spread and slippage at the worst moments. Read these as a look at how the engine behaves, not as a forecast.

Broker requirements

MetaTrader 5 with a HEDGING account — a netting account merges the recovery ladder into a single position and no setting works around it. Raw or ECN gold: this strategy aims at small, frequent gains, so a wide-spread symbol does not reduce the edge, it removes it. Market execution rather than instant, which will slip. A cent account is the recommended way to run it — same engine, same depth, a fraction of the exposure. And a VPS in your broker’s data-centre region is required rather than recommended: the engine manages an open basket tick by tick, and while the trail is unarmed nothing is resting at the broker to protect it.
