Questions businesses ask before a build

Do I need to know how to code?
No. Explain the strategy in plain language, the way you would explain it to another trader. We write the rules down as a specification, agree it with you, and build from that.
Can you build an Expert Advisor from my strategy?
Yes, as long as the rules can be written down precisely: when to enter, when to exit, how much to risk and when not to trade. If a rule depends on judgement, such as "when the chart looks strong", we work with you to turn it into something measurable before development starts.
Do you develop for MT4 and MT5?
Yes. Expert Advisors, indicators and panels for both. If you are not sure which platform suits your project, we explain the difference for your case when we read your brief.
Can you modify an EA I already have?
Yes, if you have its source code (.mq4 or .mq5). Compiled files (.ex4 or .ex5) cannot be edited, so without the source the work becomes a rebuild from the documented behaviour, which we scope with you first.
Do I receive the source code?
Yes. You receive the full source code of the software we build for you, and you own it outright.
Is my strategy kept confidential?
Yes. Every project agreement includes a confidentiality clause covering your strategy and your project.
Can you build buy/sell signal software like Meta Pro 2.0?
Yes. Meta Pro 2.0 is X-STOX’s own technical-analysis and signal software for MetaTrader 4. We can build a product around your own method, filters, interface and brand; what it includes is set by its specification.
Can you build white-label trading software?
Yes. The software carries your product name, logo, colours and domain, and you offer it to your own clients. Branding, licensing and distribution terms are agreed in writing for every white-label project.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on the scope, so there are no fixed prices. Send a brief: we reply with questions, then a written estimate, before you commit to anything.
How long does development take?
It depends on the complexity: a single indicator is a much smaller job than a multi-symbol Expert Advisor with its own dashboard. The estimate we send after reading your brief includes the timeline.
Can you guarantee my strategy will be profitable?
No. We build software that follows your rules exactly and can be tested. Whether those rules make money depends on the strategy and the market, not on the code. Backtesting checks that the software behaves as specified; it is not a forecast of results.
What support do I get after delivery?
Bugs in what was specified are fixed free, for the life of the software. New features, or changes to the trading rules, are a new piece of work, discussed and estimated in the same way.
Is this a signal service?
No. This service builds software to your specification. It is not a signal subscription and it does not trade for you.
